Would like minimum electronics .

I'd guess they all have DPF now ?

Father in law will use it , but not every day . RickB

Kubota M and Massey Ferguson and series are very good tractors. The Mahindras also have a good reputation and do not have DPF. Good luck

I agree with you, neither a MFE or MFE or the premium MF for a 50 hp loader tractor. JD

Get a 5xxx series JD. The ones from the 90s would have basically zero electronics and are very trouble free. My neighbor has one and loves his. We run all JD 7xxx and 8xxx series and have almost zero problems. retento

Does it have to be new? We have a New Holland TC55DA that has been pretty much flawless for about hours of mixed use. Pre emission, very few electronics, shuttle shift; really like it.

I push a lot of limbs and trunks with it in the winter and it always surprises me how capable it is. I'd bet there are some low hour ones around for a good price. kritzy

We've been running a cih 585 since it was new in . In hrs we've put 1 clutch, 1 hydraulic pump, 1 alternator, and 1 paint job on it. The pump probably was ok yet but we felt like it was getting a little weak with the loader. Otherwise it's been absolutely trouble free. It'll only lift about lbs with the loader but with fwa it'll go absolutely anywhere. Russell

The company is the world’s best 50hp farm tractor supplier. We are your one-stop shop for all needs. Our staff are highly-specialized and will help you find the product you need.

I noticed in the picture that it was 2 wheel drive. I would only consider 4 wheel drive.

I have a Farmall 50 B with CVT transmission. Been very reliable and travels 21 mph down the road. I have a cab and use mine for snow removal too. Cab is nice if you get caught in a rain you are dry or keep the bugs off. mvpfarms

My vote would be a Kubota with the hydro transmission. Once you get use to your foot controlling forward/reverse and speed it's hard to go back. Thud

Russell for snow removal are you pushing a blade or using a blower? If blower , how big? I realize the type of snow, and quantity make a huge difference but do you think you could run a 6-7ft blower in 10 inches of snow? CVT is sweet for blowing snow , just don't know if 50hp is enough to blow any real amount of snow . RickB

TC55DA has an electronic shuttle. Not bad tractors, but since New Holland and Shibaura divorced, those tough old compacts are a bit of an orphan. It's a shame.
